Flex Your Muscle and Grow the Future

SEMA is ready to help pay the tuition for the future of the industry’s top scholars and dedicated to fostering the next crop of scholars to compete in today’s competitive marketplace by offering scholarships to today’s brightest students attending various universities, colleges, and/or vocational schools in both the United States and Canada.

In 2008, SEMA awarded scholarships of $1,000 to $4,000 to roughly 40% of the approved applicants. Since its inception, in 1984 the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund has helped more than 400 students, cumulating in over $1,000,000 in grants.

Our mission is to foster industry leadership by supporting the education of students pursuing careers in the

automotive aftermarket in no more important time than today. Through help from the industry, we are able to accomplish that and more….

"SEMA has provided me with vital funding and priceless networking, two key components to a successful career. For this, I am indefinitely indebted."
- Grant Feichter

"The SEMA scholarship has made a tremendous impact as I continue my educational journey. The scholarship has allowed me to enrich my learning experience, with more time devoted to community service and career-building activities."
- Sam Liang

“Without this scholarship, I would have not been able to continue my education in the auto collision field. As the rising cost of education makes it very difficult for students to move forward in the automotive as well as other fields of study, only with the help of generous organizations such as yours can this be made possible.”
- Chuck Smith
